Eastern Cottonwood, Ottawa River banks, Ontario - would like to ID if this is an insect gall or the fruit containing seeds; growth is consistent at the tips of branches, not random. Insects mutate cells, forming small growths dotting an Oak leaf. Hole in Oak, probably inhabited
